For nearly three decades, Scott ministered in churches, at youth events, to professional athletes, and was a frequent speaker at disability camps. He served another seventeen years as the senior pastor of a local church in Douglasville, Georgia.

Scott has a unique ministry to those who are hurting since his own disability allows him access to a suffering world. He ministers these days through his blog, teaches and preaches occasionally, and is still very much engaged in discipling younger men and encouraging pastors.

Married to Sandy, his loving companion of forty years, Scott continues to brag about how she hung his moon and is the best person he’s ever known. They have a son, Graham, who waits for them in heaven.
