The following short quiz consists of 4 questions and will tell you whether you are qualified to be a professional manager. Let’s see how you do:

1. How do you put a giraffe into a refrigerator?

The correct answer is: Open the refrigerator, put in the giraffe, and close the door. This question tests whether you tend to do simple things in an overly complicated way.

2. How do you put an elephant into a refrigerator?

Did you say, Open the refrigerator, put in the elephant, and close the refrigerator?

Wrong Answer.

Correct Answer: Open the refrigerator, take out the giraffe, put in the elephant and close the door. This tests your ability to think through the repercussions of your previous actions.

3. The Lion King is hosting an animal conference. All the animals attend… except one. Which animal does not attend?

Correct Answer: The Elephant. The elephant is in the refrigerator. You just put him in there. This tests your memory. Okay, even if you did not answer the first three questions correctly, you still have one more chance to show your true abilities.

4. There is a river you must cross but it is used by crocodiles, and you do not have a boat. How do you manage it?

Correct Answer: You jump into the river and swim across. Have you not been paying attention? All the crocodiles are attending the Animal Meeting. This tests whether you learn quickly from your mistakes.

  1. You could have said to read them slowly and think about them before you answer. That would have been a real help, Scott.
Actually, by the time I read your answers to the first three questions, the last one was easy. I suppose you can teach an ol’ dog new tricks after all.

I found another place where there’s a simple test. It’s actually a test of your general world view. It’s on John Warrick Montgomery’s website.
    The link is
When you get there, click on “Interactive Programmes” and do the first test you come to even if you don’t have an Apple computer.
Actually I was a little surprised at the simplicity of this test considering the statue of the author. I haven’t read “Tractatus Logico-Theologicus” yet but I’m tempted to annie up the big bucks just to see what Dr. Montgomery is all about.

  2. Of course YOUR test would be spiritual…

WHEW! I did it and discovered I am following the historic and life-changing Christian faith!

(Good thing seeing I am the pastor of a local NT church)

Thanks for turning me on to another interesting website. I shall bookmark it–and when you finish that ‘Thelacticus Cactus’ or whatever it is, just give me the sparknotes…

  3. Wow, Jerald!
Someone has an ACTUAL Spirit- Meter!
    For some reason, I question it’s accuracy…

“Unidentified, and probably doubtful, Christian theological position”

How can something be both “unidentified” known to be “Christian” at the same time?
Sounds like a doubtful assumption to me…..
    But what do I know…?
