I’ve been mulling over the fact that the Lord allows the ‘sin’ to remain in us…
He allows the temptations…. (but leaving no excuse for the actual sins if we
‘bite’)

But it’s for our good…
We are certainly like the codfish, as you say in your post here, but aren’t we
also kind of like the tank with the two opposite fish swimming around inside of
us,one which
is there only for the sake of making the other a better ‘meal’, a better source
of nourishment?

Sorry, not trying to get too ‘metaphysical’ here…
really just thinking out loud…

So kind, Jerald. I hope you are not feeling dumped on in the office (at least not more than in any other usual week!)…thank you for being there. A few years ago, when stuff like this took me off my feet, I would be concerned about gaps, but the LORD blessed me/us with a gift: Pasture’s Right Hand Man! Thank you for being there. Praise God, Darla! Our LORD takes the high and makes them low…the proud and makes them fall (into the everlasting abyss)…BUT, he takes the low and sets them in the heavenlies, the weak and infuses them with HIMSELF!
