		<description><![CDATA[That &quot;selective hearing&quot; you spoke of really hit my &#039;spot.&#039; Because of my own physical hearing impairment, I sometimes tell the spouse, &quot;If I can&#039;t see you, I can&#039;t hear you.&quot; And I sometimes can hear a noise that sounds like her voice but can&#039;t exactly make out the words because of other sounds that are around me. 
I&#039;ve noticed in recent years that that&#039;s not the case with Jesus. The batteries are dead in the hearing aid and my eyes are closed . . . but I still can &quot;hear&quot; His voice...I can&#039;t get away from it. 
You know, I&#039;ve prayed lots in the past for the ability to hear but now I guess I need to pray some more for the will to listen.
